Delivery of Goods
Goods may be delivered by Australia Post and/or other reputable courier companies for a shipment fee paid at the time of ordering. Deliveries are processed promptly upon receipt of full payment. Delivery may take between 5 and 15 business days depending on the delivery location in Australia. We will use our best efforts to provide you with accurate information on when to expect your delivery such as courier tracking numbers but will not be responsible for late or missed deliveries by courier companies.
Deliveries can only be made to the address you provided on the order and you or your authorised representative will need to provide photo ID when signing for the delivery. Your delivery will not be left at the door if you or your authorised representative are not available to receive it. Australia Post or the courier company making the delivery will leave a card with contact details to reschedule your delivery. We are not responsible for any delays or additional charges that may be incurred for rescheduling of deliveries.
Damaged or lost orders should be resolved directly with Australia Post or the courier company responsible and we are not liable for goods that are damaged in transit or not received. Replacement of damaged or lost items is made at the discretion of BIBO.
Title and risk in the goods delivered will pass to you when we receive full payment for the goods and you or your authorised representative receive delivery of the goods whichever is the later event.
We offer an installation service for certain BIBO products for an additional fee and you can choose to include installation when placing your order. We will arrange a suitable date for installation and you will be notified a time window on the morning of installation. Your installation will be carried out by a trained and fully insured Service Technician. If you are not available at the date and time arranged for installation, and you have not notified us at least 24 hours in advance, you may be charged an additional installation fee for rescheduling.
The fee charged for installation covers a standard installation which means where the product is installed in reasonable proximity to a plumbed in water supply (with an angle stop valve fitting) and a 240V electrical socket. If additional plumbing or electrical work is required for a non-standard installation our Service Technician will provide an on the spot quote for the additional cost and you will need to pay the additional cost before installation takes place.
Installation generally involves drilling a small hole through bench tops, under bench cupboards, and sometimes walls to feed the pipe connecting the product to the plumbing supply. We will endeavour to ensure that all work is carried out to a high standard but will not be liable for repair or make good of drilled surfaces at any time either at or after installation.
Where specified BIBO products are covered by a one (1) year manufacturer’s warranty covering faults or defects in manufacture. You may extend the warranty for one (1) additional year (i.e. two (2) years in total) by selecting and paying for the extended warranty option at the time of ordering.
Warranty claims should be made to our Customer Service team who will make arrangements to repair your product on site or return them to our service centre. Under the terms of our warranty we will repair or replace your product at our cost including shipment to our service centre and back to your premises. Where we need to remove your product for repair we will endeavour to provide you with replacement product on a temporary loan basis.
Our warranty does not cover normal wear and tear and is null and void in the case of faults and damage caused through your negligence, improper use, modification, tampering, or causes beyond our control such as power failures, power surges, or flooding.
