The BIBO Water Bar is a bench top water dispenser that provides instant hot, cold and warm beverages such as tea, coffee, hot chocolate and an instant chilled glass or jug of water.
It can also be used for instant noodles, soups or for filling a pot with pre-boiled water for cooking.
A BIBO Water Bar helps improve general health and wellbeing and is so convenient to use.
It replaces your kettle, water cooler, filter system, and bottled water. Plus it’s great for the environment helping get rid of plastic bottle waste and saves you energy.
Apart from its modern innovative design and high quality chilled and boiling, filtered and purified water on tap, the BIBO Water Bar has many high-tech features such as:
• Ergonomic screen display with soft touch buttons and on-screen user instructions.
• Adjustable temperature settings for hot, cold, and mix buttons to suit your tastes.
• Programmable volume settings for your favourite mug or glass size.
• Energy saving “sleep” and “power saving” modes to power down the BIBO when not in use.
• Double child lock safety feature on the hot water system.
• On screen reminder notice when filter or UV lamp is due to be changed.

Yes. And you can also get ambient (or warm) water set at any temperature. Temperatures can be adjusted using the menu function.
Hot water can be set from 70 degrees celsius to 96 degrees celsius. There is also a hot booster button to bump up the maximum temperature up to 98 degrees celsius just below boiling.
Cold water temperatures can be set from 4 degrees celsius (ice cold) to 16 degrees celsius (temperature of a standard cold water tap).
The BIBO uses the latest technology in water filtration – multistage carbon filtration in combination with UV lamp purification. The carbon filter removes impurities, sediment, tastes, odours and chlorine leaving only the good minerals behind giving a fresh, crisp, clean tasting water. The UV filter lamp kills bacteria and pathogens which may be present in your tap water.
The system is certified to the Watermark standard and meets the highest standards of quality and safety.
The BIBO Water Bar does not remove fluoride from your drinking water. If this is a concern, it is possible to purchase a separate fluoride filter and install it between the mains and your BIBO connection.
The BIBO Water Bar contains an Ultraviolet Lamp inserted into the cold tank. UV light is very effective at destroying microorganisms such as algae, mould, bacteria, and viruses keeping the water pure and pristine at all times.
UV is not necessary in the hot tank because the high temperature does the same job.
Your BIBO plumbs into your mains water supply so as to provide unlimited filtered and purified water.
It can produce 15 litres of boiling water and 5 litres of chilled water per hour and recharges quickly when either tank is emptied.
No, the BIBO Water Bar does not need to be refilled. It is plumbed into the water mains and once the tanks are filled on installation it never needs refilling. As water is dispensed, the tanks refill automatically providing an endless supply of instant filtered, purified, chilled and boiling water.
It can produce 15 litres of boiling water and 5 litres of chilled water per hour and recharges quickly when either tank is emptied.
The BIBO is fitted with the BIBO MAXI Carbon Filter and BIBO Ultraviolet (UV) Lamp. It is recommended to replace the MAXI Carbon Filter every 6 months and the UV Lamp every 12 months. For complete peace of mind, the BIBO touch screen display will indicate when your filters are due for replacement.
You are welcome to sign up to our Annual Filter Replacement Service so your filters will be sent directly to you automatcially.
If you live in an area with hard water, we recommend descaling your hot tank every 6 months.
We supply a convenient descaling kit including a reusable descaling filter cartridge, descaling solution, and full instructions.

If you request one of our professional BIBO technicians to do it for you, we will contact you first to discuss the installation location, ask you to send photos of where the BIBO will likely be installed and the plumbing setup under the sink.
Once you receive your BIBO delivery, we will make an appointment for out technician to visit and install it for you.
For more information, visit our Installation page.
It is possible to install the BIBO anywhere as long as there is a mains water supply in the vicinity. Where necessary, our BIBO technicians can run (and hide) tubing through walls and ceilings to make it function perfectly and look great too. You won’t see any visible pipes or fittings after installation.
Your BIBO does not need a waste water drain. It has a removable drip tray which can be emptied when necessary.
Not a problem! Typically installation requires drilling an 8mm hole at the back of your benchtop, behind the BIBO to feed the 1/4″ pipe to the mains supply. We recommend having this done by a qualified professional with the right equipment.
All BIBO technicians are highly trained to deal with these types of stone benchtops, using specialised diamond tools coupled with a water cooling system. This prevents any dust in your home or office and ensures a nice neat unobtrusive 8mm hole.
No the BIBO Water Bar doesn’t include a sparkling water feature but it can create perfectly chilled water from the BIBO which can then be used with your favourite sparkling water appliance.
Simply wipe your BIBO Water Bar down with a damp cloth and mild detergent such as dishwashing liquid or window cleaner.
Never use abrasive cleaning agents or solvents on your BIBO. Remove the drip tray periodically and give it a good wash in the sink.

The BIBO Water Bar is designed to assist people with mobility issues and those who are unable to reach the kitchen tap or lift a kettle.
You will need to check with your NDIS plan manager whether you can claim the BIBO as 'Assistive Technology' on your plan.
If you plan to be a way for a period of time switch your BIBO off at the wall and we recommend turning off the water at the angle connector valve under the sink by turning the lever 90 degrees.
When you return switch everything back on and flush 1-2L of water through both hot and cold tanks.
