Upon receiving the BIBO Water Bar, it requires to be connected to a mains water supply.
We offer a professional installation service in most areas. Please refer to the information below, in particular  'What's Included'and'What's Excluded'before requesting one of our BIBO technicians.  Alternatively your local plumber should be able to help with installation. Or if you are the DIY type of person, you can install the BIBO yourself - everything you need is included in the the box.

  • Professional Installation by a BIBO Technician

We highly recommend you have your new BIBO Water Bar installed by an approved BIBO Service Technician. All our Service Technicians are highly trained and experienced in appliance installation.

We provide an installation service in all capital cities and most regional centres throughout Australia. Once installed our BIBO Service Technician will help you customise your BIBO to your specific needs, answer any questions you may have, and show you how to get the best use out of your BIBO.

  • Self Installation Kit

Your BIBO Water Bar comes with an installation kit including 3m of 1/4″ flexible pipe, a 1/2″ connector valve, a pressure limiting valve, and a comprehensive User Manual.

Typical installation involves drilling a small 8mm hole in the back of the bench behind the BIBO. For stone benches we recommend this is done by a professional. The 1/4″ pipe is fed under the sink and connected to the cold stop tap.

We provide step by step instructions in your BIBO User Manual on how to install your BIBO. Our Technical Support Team would be happy to talk you through the process if required.

What's included?
  • Location on a suitable benchtop within 3m of a mains water supply and 240V power point.
  • Plumbing connection to an existing mains water stop tap above or below the benchtop.
  • Drilling an 8mm hole through the benchtop to run ¼” flexible pipe.
  • Benchtop materials include timber and laminate. In the case of caesarstone, we will need to confirm first with our local plumber.
  • Filling and testing your BIBO, checking menu settings, and a brief demonstration.
What's excluded?
  • Installation of a 240V power point or provision of extension leads or power boards.
  • Installation of a suitable mains water stop tap to connect to or other major plumbing jobs.
  • Drilling benchtops made glass, steel, marble, granite, or any other very hard or fragile material. Drilling in caesarstone may be difficult in some locations so we will need to confirm with our local plumber.
  • Running ¼” piping over a distance more than 3m or through walls and ceilings to a remote location.
  • Installation in remote areas more than 30km from major cities or regional towns.
  • For excluded items additional charges will apply based on a site inspection and quote.

To get the most out of your BIBO Water Bar and help prolong it's service life, we recommend you install it in a clean, dry, cool location out of direct sunlight.

Clean your BIBO regularly by simply wiping it down with a damp cloth. Mild soap or detergent can be used but never use concentrated detergents, solvents, or anything abrasive such as stiff brushes or scourers to clean the body as it will scratch. The drip tray can be removed and put through your dishwasher.

Your BIBO is an electrical appliance and we strongly recommend disconnecting it from the power supply for cleaning. Never immerse your BIBO in water or splash water inside it during cleaning.

If you are going away for a period we suggest switching your BIBO off using the power and hot tank switches at the rear. We also recommend turning off the water supply to your BIBO using the isolation valve on the mains connector valve supplied with your machine. When you return don’t forget to turn everything back on and its a good idea to flush 1-2 litres of water through both hot and cold tanks before using.
You receive a BIBO User Manual on delivery of your BIBO. The User Manual has all the information you need to make the most of your BIBO including clear instructions on installation, menu options, maintenance tips, troubleshooting, and warranty.

Each section contains informative pictograms of the various screen settings and functions with step by step instructions on how to program your BIBO exactly how you want it.

Your BIBO User Manual has full instructions to help you seamlessly replace your existing MAXI Carbon Filter and/or UV Lamp and insert new ones, plus there are filter change Instructions included in every filter pack.
Your BIBO has been manufactured to the highest quality standards and should give you many years of service. However if you do experience a fault with your BIBO please refer to your BIBO User Manual 'Troubleshooting' section.
