You receive a BIBO User Manual on delivery of your BIBO. The User Manual has all the information you need to make the most of your BIBO including clear instructions on installation, menu options, maintenance tips, troubleshooting, and warranty.
Each section contains informative pictograms of the various screen settings and functions with step by step instructions on how to program your BIBO exactly how you want it.

We highly recommend that you get one of our friendly qualified service technicians to install your BIBO for you. Not only will they install your BIBO professionally they will show you how to customise it for your specific needs.
However there’s also the option for you to do it yourself if you are technically minded, or arrange for your own local plumber to do the installation. We supply a convenient installation kit in the box with everything you should need to connect your BIBO to the stop valve under your sink.
You will find clear step-by-step installation instructions in your BIBO User Manual and we are more than happy to answer any technical questions you may have.

It’s very simple to change your Carbon Maxi Filter and/or UV Filter Lamp. For complete peace of mind, your BIBO will automatically remind you when they are due for replacement. As of 1st Dec 2025, the new 12 month MAXI carbon filter has replaced the 6 month filter. You can purchase a new pack by clicking on Annual Filter Pack.
After all, the reason you got your BIBO in the first place was to enjoy clean, healthy, great tasting water and it’s critical to replace your carbon filter and UV lamp at the scheduled time even though they may appear to be still working.
Your BIBO User Manual has full instructions to help you seamlessly replace your 6 month MAXI Carbon Filter and/or UV Lamp, plus there are new filter change instructions for the 12 month MAXI Carbon filter included in every new filter pack.
If you are changing your existing 6 month filter to the new 12 month filter for the first time, you will need to adjust your BIBO's filter date setting on your menu bar. You can watch the Youtube video https://youtube.com/shorts/0TCnvwR6bnI or read the instructions below.

Step 1 - Access password screen. You will need to push the buttons in quick succession otherwise the BIBO will kick you out of the menu and you will have to start over. .
1 - Press the Menu Button .
2 - Next press the cold water button .
3 - Next press the cup button .
4 - Next push the boil button. This will take you to a screen that will say “password” at the top, the password is all “8”. To insert the password you will need to use the scroll buttons. .
Step 2- Insert password. You will need to push the buttons in quick succession otherwise the BIBO will kick you out of the menu and you will have to start over. .
1- 'Cup' button twice will change the first digit to 8 .
2- 'Hot' Button after that will move over to the next block and repeat step 2.1 .
3- Repeat the above two steps until you have changed all the digits to 8 .
4- Then push the menu button to confirm the password. It will then take you to a screen that will give you three options: Filter, Zapper, restore setting. You will need the zapper (UV) option. .
Step 3 - Counter change .
1- 'Menu' button to enter the filter bypass 2- 'Hot' Button to go to the Days 3- Press and hold the 'cold water' button to increase the number to 360 4- Menu to confirm .
Once done you can push the unlock button twice to return to the normal screen.
