For optimum performance from your BIBO, we recommend cleaning and descaling your hot tank every 6 months using this handy Hot Tank Descaling Kit. It comes with a multi-use descaling cartridge which can be filled with descaling solution and inserted in place of the MAXI Carbon Filter cartridge.

Then it’s a simple case of running the hot water until the tank is full with descaling solution and leaving it to sit for a while to work its magic. A quick flush through with fresh water and you are back in business.

If you live in a “hard water” area you may experience a build-up of calcium limescale in your BIBO’s hot water tank. A sure sign of this is a change in taste, interrupted flow from the outlet, or hot water overflowing into the back of the drip tray.

The BIBO Hot Tank Descaling Kit contains 1 x multiuse descaling cartridge, 1 x pack of descaler and cleaner (3 sachets), 1 hexagonal key and an instruction sheet.
